Andy is a former veal calf who was rescued along with two other calves named Elvis and Ralphie. They all found a home at Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary. The steers at WFAS are joined by a special bond that should serve as a reminder that animals experience the world with a lot more feeling than the meat and dairy industry would want you to believe. In 2009 Ralphie had a medical emergency and had to leave the sanctuary for treatment. Andy along with the other steers, cried at his departure, which continued on and off for days. When Ralphie returned, Andy licked at his neck for days on end, happy that his friend was back home.
